a weekend full of fun...

After my 3 weeks trip in Australia, 2 weeks later i packed my bags again and travelled to Singapore. oh man....... i missed singapore so much!... it has been 8 months since the last time i was there and that was when i was with my jimuis. goddamnit i missed the great singapore sales (...bcos i was away in somewhere better.. :P) but lucky us... national day was looming near when we were there last week so a lot of things were on sale as well. YEAY!!!!

my long awaited and dreamed birkenstock sandals is finally here... under my feet!
i know it is just a pair of sandals but i've been eyeing on it for quite long and if u think it is too simple ... well.. thats just what i like about it. simplicity and white is memang pun my style. and if u think i am very rich.. no i am not. my aunty is. Thank You Ah Ya Buk!

anyway... the much awaited 080808 Olympic Opening Ceremony came and went.. it was... mediocre.. but it is totally so Zhang Yimou style to use all the human resource he could get to work the choreography.. if u want any pics on it.. go google it urself.. hehe.. as the fireworks were bursting from the bird'snest stadium in my tv. i was busy waiting for the time to come so that i could take this auspicious picture... hahahaha

nothing better to do

Well... overall this is definitely a meaningful weekend for me.... despite i broke my ritual of waking up b4 10 every morning.. (i actually woke up at 12.30 on friday and 1 pm on saturday bcos i was toooo tired from walking around here and there in Singapore) when i was there in spore, i met up with su yen and tam. then yen told us that jit jhun's wife have finally given birth to a baby girl named................ JADE JANG JAE EE... her name is sooooooooooo COOOOOOL! I always think that girls with the name Jade is cool and powerful. but i have not known any yet actually. the only Jade i've ever heard of is the contestant from ANTM...:P ok... moving on

so on saturday afternoon me and beeli went to yengirl's house to visit the 5days old baby. oh mi god. she is like the tiniest and cutest baby on earth. she is soooo pretty and so cute! and her legs are super long for a 5 days old baby as well.. and.. hehe. i also got the opportunity to carry her. seriously months ago i totally had no idea of carrying a baby sleeping style... but after training from carrying my cousin's months old baby, the time was just right for me to handle a fragile cute little thing. and it also helped that baby Jade was too young to wail like crazy.. i guess she felt uncomfortable but... haha!! cannot cry... so no one took the baby away from me!

i feel really happy for them and i felt a surge of uber joy when i asked cecilia did she cry for joy when she saw her new baby? she said... 'no la.. i did not cry but felt really happy. and i can finally say to myself ''this is my daughter, this is my very own daughter.. not other ppl's babies that i play with..".. aih so sweet..

if u guys are suspecting something, .... NO..i am not craving to have a baby of my own.

then later at night yesterday, i met up with my besties - Joey, Keng Ming, Swee Ann, Ivan and Ivan's friend whom i've never met b4 in Kampung Pandan's Rendezvous.. it feels so good and comfortable to fall back into their arms and talk like crazy.. i miss them sooo much! muaks darlings!!


then the next day which is today... i woke up at 7.30 am... just bcos we needed to go to our family friend's durian orchard in Bentong Pahang. at first i was quite skeptical about going there bcos... truthishly.. i am no big fan of the big nature. as much as i love all God's creations... i cant really stand being in a place with wild animals, wild insects and wild occurences that may happen anytime that i may not understand so much about. let's just say... i feel really lost when i'm in the forest and i will feel very insecure and i hate that feeling. but ... i do enjoy seeing the beautiful scenes cities can NEVER provide.
