Singapore Trip and Mien Yee's Bday

yeay!~..this is the first time i travel with girls only.. i mean friends..
and of course..girls=shopping.. so we spent most of 4day (3 for me) trip shopping shopping..

first day we went to orchard, second night we went to orchard as well, third night orchard again and the 4th day.. they spent the whole afternoon in orchard. seriously.. i know it sounds damn sien.. but that stretch of road is sipeh long that 4 days is insufficient..

first day we spent the whole day in orchard

second day bugis junction and bugis street and in the evening we went to orchard to sit the free city sightseeing bus ride

third day we went to suntec city mall, bugis street again, then me and jamie went to bugis village's giovanna where i left my anything and whatever drink there.. *forgetful piece of shit*.. then we headed off to dhoby ghaut's This Fashion where i left my giovanna sandals there *hopeless...* then in the evening we went to orchard again.. :p! hahaha

we did not even touch vivocity.. but its ok.. its not like i have anything to buy there..

guess why i din mention my 4th day... it was because i received a call from my dad on Wednesday night when i was still in orchard... and he told me that he is in singapore now to fetch me home.. i was... HUH?!?!.. then my aunt was like.. "aiya.. pass me the phone la!~" then she said.. "ur ah nio passed away.." :o omg!.. ah nio is my mum's father's first wife.. go figure!~
so.... i am not THAT close to her as she stays in singapore.. and she doesnt speak any language other than hainanese.. and my hainanese is not very polished and insufficient to communicate with her as her hainan language is pure.. directly imported from China. so yea la.. but it was really nothing to be sad about. at least she lived thru the 4th generation and has reached 90 yrs old.. so it is really something to be happy about actually.. in total.. she has 8 greatgrandchildren.. but surprise.... only 1 was there and she did not even really take part in it as she is only 6 yrs old.. that is the saddest part.. even.. me and my brother.. .not close, yet no bloodrelationship, and not in the Tan family also took part.. hmm... i know times have changed and things are not as traditional as b4.. but.. some things are meant to be preserved.. and its also respect..

Anyway.... what i can sum up bout the whole trip is....
some of the taxi drivers there are really friendly and good.. but some.. are downright assholes..
wear good walking shoes.. cause u will walk walk walk whole day!
ezlink card is super convenient
singapore feels safe and convenient..
