Guangzhou

nothing much on this trip actually.. just went around.. looking at furnitures.. eat eat eat...
right.. this post is mostly on the delicacies Guangzhou has at least.. to offer.

one of my first days there.. we came across this shop.. selling funny looking preserved chicken and ducks spare parts. hahaah... ever since i watched this particular tvb show i watched how they ate duck's tongue like they are eating chips.. i've become so into finding a place that offers duck's tongue.. my mum thinks that i am crazy for craving such disgusting food! it is seriously very dirty. cause my mum once saw.. those itik ternakan drink water from filthy longkang with their tongues... eew. and.. AM i even sure that.... ppl.... from china would really clean these t0ngues completely?

my verdict: try not to think of it as... duck's tongue.. hehe but it feels like pig ears. it is very very preserved...u can taste the salty and spicy preservatives.. and those are the only thing that made it got taste.. or else.. u will taste the filty longkang water. Overall it tastes alright but i wont have it again. :p


NEXT... KFC PASSIONFRUIT EGG TART

We were super hungry when we first tried it so it was phenomenal to us!.. i almost melted!!
Served hot, it is seriously superb!.. it is sour, sweet.. and eggy?.. and also doughy?
hahaha whatever la huh.. try and imagination a combination of soury and sweet passionfruit cubes + smooth egg + the pastry cup that holds the concoction.. i seriously am not sure what to call it. yea.. imagine it.. it is super nice!!..

but... after one too many... over the whole trip.. it starts to get ... 'zai' and.. i almost vomitted on my last passion fruit egg tart. so.. just try once or twice.. is enough.. :D

it is... i guess u can call it milk pudding? like really concentrated... and genuine milk pudding. it is made out from buffalo's milk, egg white and pudding. i've tried this in several places.. and only this...... restaurant.. serves the best milk pudding!!.. others./. it's plain shit. -_-"
its really ironic that i am eating this white thingy when the whole world is so scared of any milk production from china.. hahaa but it's all over now.. i am back here in malaysia.. i am not eating it anymore

from the same restaurant,... there was also.. 梅菜扣肉.. preserved vege.. pork.. this is very very nice!.. the rice that came together was also the good quality kind.. so.. with this ...creates a mind blowing combo!

ok... it's so obvious that i am trying to pull a kenny sia.. hahaha i am actually really hoping air asia would see my blog as well then they would invite me to their next food tasting. :p...

人不可貌相... dont judge a book by it's cover... and the sambal was quite salty! i have to say that the quality has downgraded since the last time i ate it which was when i went to cambodia last chinese new yr..
