:) I am back.. with a loving feeling in my heart..

my heart is skipping along a beautiful floral lane whistling to songs from Zee Avi.

Zee Avi is a Sarawak born singer who first started in KL singing in pubs.. then she got contracted by one of the major music companies in LA.. something like that la her story. Go google to find out more. Anyway.. her songs are soooo goood! Even hitz aired her song which is a good change cause so far all i hear from the station are noises. Only the djs are good, fly and mix have super lj bad djs!.. except for serena and hunnymadu!

I am not sure if Zee Avi songs are indie songs but they do sound like it..

maybe not many of u guys know... i think only miss chan knows.. i actually love love love indie songs (for the 20th time.. indie songs are not indian songs... they are songs from independent bands. Not the mainstream ones like rihanna or flo-rida or whatever). haha. there was once me and misschan were in Singapore sitting in the taxi.. then "New Soul" by Yael Naim aired on radio. We went.. "AAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! OMG OMG OMG!! Singapore got such song on radio!! Singapore's radio station taste so high!" ...yes.. so we have high tastes in music.. :P !

My favorites from Zee Avi would be Bittersweet, Poppy, Honey Bee, Just You and Me, Monte, & Darling It Ain't Easy.

The rest - Is this the End, Kantoi, I am Me Once More, First of the Gang to Die, The Story & Let Me In, well i don't dare to say they are my favorites for fear u guys go hear it and u all don't like cause if you cannot appreciate it, it can be a little boring. But i have to say that these are my go-to songs when i WANT to feel lonely and emo. Such situation would be roadtrips - bus, car.. when i am sitting alone.. listening to nothing but songs like these.. while looking out through the window - at the same thing for 100 km.

I love love love polaroid photos. I know u can achieve it via photoshop. But i lazy and i don't know how to do. I don't want to do tune the colours myself cause i wouldnt know if it is polarised or not. It will just look the same to me.. just.. tinted.

You download it,

Wait for it to be completed.

A camera will appear.

Then u just drag ur photos onto the photo space at the camera

Wait for ur photo to be polarised.

Leave it or drag the photo around for the colour to appear faster (u know.. like how u shake a polaroid photo).

then.. BE MESMERISED!

This camera is so realistic!! At one time it can only develop 10 photos. Then you have to quit the program and relauch... like how u would reload the negatives. Only this time, the negatives are free. And.. the sound it makes when it 'captures', so.. old.. school..! everything is turning back to 1970's!

On a not so related but also related note: my mum was saying i am crazy to buy something that she had last time and i despised it when i was younger. That's how the world is turning. It is rewinding!

see these 2 pictures. the colour temperature for both are very different. i did not 'shake'.. i did not do anything to it but somehow both just show up differently. this totally gives a whole new meaning of realistic!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!!!! This whole picture is so befitting. Imagine they were a 1970s wedded couple in HK, her wearing the 'kua', behind them a hill dotted with luxurious 70s style residential pads of the rich.. and maybe famous. :)

I bought mine for RM 110. If you want it to b sent to ur house, provided u stay around KL and PJ... the postage fee is RM 5.

The camera uses normal 35mm film. You can basically buy the negative film at any photo shop. But you don'thave to develop them into real photos though, you can ask them to develop all the 36 pics into a cd. how coooool!

OK..moving on to my next love.

After hearing bout Michael Jackson's death, it didn't really quite hit me until a few days later when i watch E! and they were reporting all bout him. Then they kept replaying his biggest hits like Thriller (i love that mtv!), Billie Jean, You Are Not Alone, Dangerous and.. others la.

But why they never air the mtv/song that i LOVEEEE so much ever since i was young! Not sure if you guys will know bout this song but i actually spent my primary school yrs watching the mtv every friday night (remember metrovision? they had this top20 music chart programme hosted by Trey(super cute!) at 8pm). It was the era when British pop conquered most of the airwaves..Spice Girls, Oasis, Take That, 911!, and many other whom i have forgotten and have gone unemployed. And all this was way b4 that gayish Westlife appeared.

anyway.. the song that i am talking bout is EARTH SONG! Until now the images of ppl cutting down trees, cutting off elephant tusks and aborigines caressing? the orange/brown earth keep replaying in my head. i still remember that was when i learned about paper came from trees.. and that video was my first insight! You guys have got to watch it! WHY NOBODY THINKS THAT MICHAEL CARES FOR THE EARTH AND ENVIRONMENT?! they should just put the molestation cases to rest in my opinion.

MUST WATCH! DON'T CARE!
