What's MDG u ask.. it is Malaysian Dreamgirls. and yes i do watch lame shows.
it is actually an imitation of America's Next Top Model but of course Malaysia always tries hard to be different when they are of the same concept... and also of course. Malaysia always fails in comparison with other ppl. the production, filming and the sound system of the show .. i dont wanna comment bout it cause its not like i myself can do better... but.. seriously... they ought to improve man... and the girls.. who can leave them out of this topic. well there are only a few which i think has the modeling potential and only one whom i really love - which i also have met b4 - and the others... i seriously dont understand why the 3 judges put them in lo!...
and yes.. about the judges. i SOOOO prefer it if Elaine Daly acts as the judge cum host like how Tyra Banks did.. having Sazzy Falak as the judge is a HUGE waste of time and money and am not sure if she was really there during the photoshoots and during elimination there she is complaining about their photos like she knows better.. maybe she does... maybe she doesnt.. i am actually thinking of the latter. the latest photoshoot was the Wella Inspiration or something where they don on really high fashion and highly funny looking hairstyles. and also they have very shu uemura inspired eyelashes stuck to their eyes. of all... i think Fiqa's picture look the BEST!.. it is so nice! if they appear on the magazine, i'd ogle at them and drool all over the page.. but sazzy falak was like.. "yea.. its nice.. not bad.." wth.. and Jay's picture was also not bad.. sazzy falak thinks the same way but she also thinks that jay's face doesnt look that good there. hmm.. i really beg to differ.
see... this is what i mean. Malaysia tries to be different.. they try very hard to set themselves away from ANTM... by employing someone else to become the HOST of the show - which only appears during elimination. and the judges - what are judges again? - are nowhere to be seen during judging time. i also seriously think that it is SOOOO wrong to have viewers to pick out who they want to stay or get out of the competition... bcos.. my favorite wan just got out. i actually cried!!!!!!!..... MALAYSIA HAS NO EYES LO. and hence... the title of this blog.
let me attack who i really dont favour.
1. Cindy.. oh my god can someone notice her eyes when she blabs?!.. its like she's gonna sleep soon. so dead! i see also i feel like closing my eyes. for those who follows the show, i think u all must have seen how hanis and fiqa attacked her funny accent. well, in my opinion it is quite inevitable to suddenly speak with an accent. when the camera is on, u do know that many ppl will be watching u talk and it is very auto to wanna speak with a better english and u really do not wanna speak with la-ma-lo-meh.. so i guess this is how she controls her slang, by speaking the cindy accent, but i also think she may have overdone it.. have u seen the contestants profile videos???... i used to like her then but after watching it... OH MAN.... i am a bla bla bla HOLDA.. and i have no qualms bout her mandarin though. cause i speak like that! wahhaha. and i also saw her blog - linked by kenny sia - ok... she puts up really fatt hao pics of herself which i... the camwhore queen at home dont even dare to pose as such let alone posting it up on internet. and u guys have got to check the comments left by various anonymous. kesian Cindy. ok.. i guess i just put the blog address here.. go and have a look http://hotpinkchili.blogspot.com
about her wella inspiration shoot. it's like she was in pain! not nice!
2. Nadia - erm.. i dont like her lips la or rather.. her mouth. she looks really sweet and warm when she smiles and i have to say she really nice set of teeth but.. when she closes her mouth and cringe. ok.. she looks like she is gonna bite the person infront of her up. during the latest elimination epidode 11. wow.. when sazzy falak was commenting on her photo.. her looks, her face. i really wanted to shout "watch out sazzy!" go see for urself la..
others.. i guess i am ok with them...
adeline - i dont wanna comment on her english la cause its not like she wants it that way. but she doesnt smile. which makes me feel like she is very chinese school girl. when she smiles she can look so sweet and cute. during the first audition i was there. she was the first girl who got through the auditions in history!.. she looks really cute and stylish with her hair and all that, i really thought that she deserves it. but seeing it now.. hmm.. there is a huge huge bungalow size room for improvement! and oh yea.. she really needs to do something bout her lips when she doesnt smile! even my sister thinks so.
ringo- as much as i sometimes like to read what she types.. i really dont think she is very model-y. especially her Wella inspiration shoot. i think its also the hair that makes her look weird. i do not really know how to explain. but she just looks very..... typical chinese. flat nose. it wasnt a very nice photo. but i am sure she could do better!.. she looks really cute and quite pretty for a chinese!
hmm yea. i guess these are the only few i wanna talk about. others.. ok i guess. but sometimes the camera do show really lame conversations between them. i was like... -___-" swt*
ok.. had fun complaining bout the show. time to get back to work!
